THE FARMING YEAR EUROPE: FARM MACHINERY THROUGH THE SEASONS, PART 4 WINTER DVD

The Farming Year: Europe Part 4 Winter is the final part of a four part series looking at the farm machinery through the seasons in Europe. With winter bringing the series to a close, this instalment finds many tractors old and new out working in the fields of Germany and Holland in particular. From the Holmer Terra-Felis sugar beet cleaner loader to the Tumoba Brussels sprout harvester and from inside the reception area of a German sugar beet factory to chopping green manure, there is a lot of action in this DVD. Tractors seen include modern and classic examples from John Deere, Case IH, Fendt, Deutz-Fahr, International Harvester and New Holland as well as Mercedes-Benz.

The final section of the DVD sees presenter Stephen Richmond giving a fascinating round-up of what we have seen and learnt during our year on the farms of Europe.
